CCGCD Board Approves Drought Warning

On March 18, 2026, the CCGCD Board of Directors approved the issuance of a drought warning due to persistent drought conditions. A drought warning is a request for water users to voluntarily reduce groundwater consumption. Colorado County is currently experiencing extreme drought (D3) in the northern and western portions of the county.
