Application packets for a place on the election ballot as a candidate for Director - Place 2, Precinct 2, Director - Place 4, Precinct 4 and Director - Place 6, At Large may be obtained from the District office located at 910 Milam Street in Columbus, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m and 5 p.m. The first day to file for a place on the ballot is July 18, 2020. Applications must be turned in to the District office no later than 5 p.m. on August 17, 2020.
James E. "Jim" Brasher, General Manager
CCGCD hired Jim Brasher as General Manager in October of 2008. Mr. Brasher was born and raised in Weimar and graduated from Weimar High School. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Geology from Texas A&M University. As part of the oil and gas industry for the previous 26 years, Mr. Brasher worked internationally and domestically in development, exploration, and in reasearch as an individual contributor and in management. He is a Professional Geologist and has published numerous articles on subsurface geology. Mr. Brasher resides in Columbus with his wife, Amanda.
Kim Kansteiner, Office Manager
CCGCD welcomed Kim Kansteiner as Office Manager in April of 2009. Ms. Kansteiner was raised in Weimar where she graduated from Weimar High School. She later earned an Associates degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Baker College. Ms. Kansteiner resides in Weimar.
