Budget & Tax Rate Notice

Colorado County GCD will hold a public hearing to consider adopting a proposed budget for FY 2026. The hearing will be held September 17, 2025 at 7 p.m. at 910 Milam Street in Columbus, TX. The total amount of the proposed budget for 2026 is $260,170. 

Colorado County GCD will hold a public hearing immediately following the budget hearing on September 17, 2025 to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2025. The proposed tax rate is 0.0068 per $100 of value. The proposed tax rate would increase total taxes in Colorado County GCD by 1.43%.
