Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Colorado County Groundwater Conservation District is to evaluate, preserve, and protect the groundwater of Colorado County, to prevent waste, and to ensure an adequate supply for current and future residents, industry and agriculture.


Notice Regarding Election:

Application packets for a place on the election ballot for the following positions may be obtained from the District office located at 910 Milam Street in Columbus. Packets are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The first day to file for a place on the ballot is July 21, 2018. Applications MUST be turned in to the District by 5 p.m. on August 20, 2018. The election will be held on November 6, 2018.
